All of them include descriptive information about a variety of species native to Arizona, or non-native but low water users. Cacti, other Succulents, and Unusual Xerophytes of Southern Arizona by Matthew Brian Johnson.

Published 2004 by Boyce Thompson Southwest Arboretum. This very complete and well documented book contains many color pictures and plenty of information designed to help the newcomer to southern Arizona, or for those trying to identify southern Arizona's cacti and native succulent and drought-adapted species. Price is $12 (includes shipping).

ARIZONA RARE PLANT FIELD GUIDE

Published in 2000 by the U.S. Government Printing Office, this book was produced by the Arizona Rare Plant Committee, a collaboration of agencies and organizations, including AZNPS.
