FALL SEASON MEETINGS
Evening Program Talk: Tuesday, November 11 The Border Fence and the Problems It's Creating presented by our own DBG Curator of Seeds, Ms. Kathy Rice. Kathy has put together a presentation on "The Fence" between the USA (Arizona) and Mexico and the ensuing problems it is causing biologically and botanically. Even though this is Veterans Day, we'll no doubt sell out anyway. And besides, I'd like to honor all Vets that attend. So be there! We need your presence!
Message from Phoenix Chapter President
We're ready to start a whole new season in Phoenix. We have four excellent speakers lined up for September, October, November and December 2008, but we need additional speakers for 2009. IF you are a potential speaker or know of someone that can deliver an interesting native plant message, then please get in touch with me @ 480-998-5638 or email. Lastly, if you can lead a field trip or have a suggestion for a field trip, please contact me or email Michael Plagens who heads up our Arizona Nature Field Trips program. Thank you for your assistance. We need you at AZNPS.
